Lorna Whiston Camps provide a supportive playground of self-exploration for all children of ages 3-8, so they can discover and enhance their unique skills, abilities, and talents, through a diverse mix of fun learning experiences.

English Explorers for 3 to 5 year olds - Bear Adventures One of the first toys for any child is a bear and they play an important role in a child’s development when they are young. For this reason, children love the topic of bears. Let your child have fun as they learn more about different types of bears and relate to the roles that bears play in a story.

Our Lorna Whiston teachers have designed our Bears Holiday Camp to spark children's natural curiosities for English learning, excite their imagination, nurture their creativity, develop their confidence and communication skills. The camp includes English, Drama and Art lessons throughout the week. English Explorers for 6 to 8 year olds - Aesop’s Animals Important life lessons can be learnt from Aesop’s Fables that have been entertaining generations of children for years! In our Aesop Animals Holiday Camp, students learn the importance of being kind, selfless and giving whilst looking closely at the fables.

Avatar: The Experience, set within the visually stunning iconic Cloud Forest at Gardensby the Bay, will wow you with impressive interactives and striking content throughout five different zones.

You will be welcomed by the iconic cascading waterfall at Cloud Forest and its resident banshee - are you ready for adventure?

Explore Pandora's bioluminescent environments, engaging with its mystical creatures and flora, and sharing in the captivating culture of its indigenous people, the Na’Vi.

Cloud Forest is home to more than 72,000 plants, and Gardens by the Bay horticulturists have been working hard to “infuse Cloud Forest with the world of Pandora ”. For this experience, Gardens by the Bay has welcomed another 5,700 plants comprising more than 160 species to complement the Pandoran landscape 🌳

See if you can spot some of these cool species:

  • Aechmea Blue Tango (Zone 1-3): A visually stunning bromeliad with electric blue flowers and contrasting hot-pink flower stalks

  • Colocasia Pharaoh Mask (Zone 2): The Colocasia Pharaoh Mask has large, heart-shaped, bright-green leaves that curve under, and are accentuated by prominent deep-purple veins. Its 3D ribcage-like appearance makes it an interesting accompaniment to the alien flora and fauna of Pandora

  • Microsorum Thailandicum (Blue Oil Fern) (Zone 2): Blue is a rare colour in plants and animals. The iridescent blue-green colour of this fern is not due to any blue pigment in the leaves, but rather to shifts with the light and viewing angle in a phenomenon called structural iridescence.

Location: Gardens by the Bay

Date: 28 October 2022 to 31 March 2023

Price: $27 (Child), $35 (Adult)
