Explore the abandoned WWII structures leftover from British rule amidst rambling jungle vines. You'll visit two bunkers as part of this expedition - both of which are hidden in a forest without walking trails. These bunkers used to be where the British (and later the Japanese army) kept their supplies and ammunition, and one of them is HUGE.

Our favourite part? This expedition comes with a twist! To bring the tunnels to life and make this more fun, the Beyond Expedition team love to come up with mini-challenges. We won't reveal them here as these challenges are what we loved most about the expedition - but just a head's up that you'll need to be prepared to get muddy! They aren't daunting though (plus are optional!), and will be suitable for anyone from 5 to 65 years.

As with any good expedition, this experience ends with a tea & cookies session where you can chill out, and swap stories!

The Beyond Expedition team will also act as your personal photographers as well with their DSLR so that you have keepsakes of the trip. We don't want to spoil too much, but expect to see a side of Singapore you've never seen before!

This is a join-in kayaking experience with Clarence or his team. Clarence is an award-winning guide who has been kayaking and exploring lesser-known parts of Singapore since he was 13!

The best part about this experience is that instead of taking the usual tried-and-tested kayak routes, Clarence and his team have explored and charted far-flung locales in Singapore that most people haven't heard of. Think of it like an omakase-style (i.e. leave it up to your guide) kayaking experience! So you can avoid the crowds, and feel like you're discovering new land without needing to travel overseas. They are also beloved for their hot-cooked lunches prepared in the great outdoors, and really nothing tastes better!

It's usually a 4-6km route, and suitable for all levels of kayakers (even beginners). This option is suitable for kids 3 years old and above and is pet-friendly (so long as your pet can fit in the kayak).

As a value-add The Unexpected offers on all its experiences, your guides will take photos of your experience and share them with you after (free-of-charge), so it's very Instagram-friendly too!
